On March 26 – 29, 2009, the Film and Video Center of the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) will present its 14th Native American Film +  Video Festival in New York City. We are delighted to announce that Weaving Worlds and We Shall Remain's Trail of Tears  has been selected for inclusion from among more than 400 works submitted, chosen by a team of FVC program staff and guest selectors. Filmmakers and cultural activists Nanobah Becker (Navajo), Chris Eyre (Cheyenne/Arapaho), Fred Rickard (Cree) and Zezinho Yube (Kaxinawa), with Jesús Avirama (Kokonuco) providing additional Latin American selection assistance, are this festival’s selectors.
