Call For Entries for the 13th Annual Cine Las Americas International Film Festival

Cine Las Americas announces their call for entries for the 13th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival taking place April 21-29, 2010 in Austin, Texas.  Every year the festival offers the best of Latino and indigenous cinema to diverse audiences in Austin.  This year, Cine Las Americas International Film Festival will honor Mexico as the featured invited country.

To be eligible for these competitive sections, projects must have been completed after January 1, 2008. All film entries are also eligible to participate in the festival's non-competitive sections. For all works where the spoken language is not English, English subtitles or narration are required.

Submissions should be at the Cine Las Americas office by the following dates and times:

• Deadline: January 15, 2010 at 5:00pm (Non-refundable entry fee US$20)
• Late Deadline: January 29, 2010 at 5:00pm (Late entry fee US$40)
• Emergencia Youth Films Deadline: January 29, 2010 at 5:00PM (Youth Films pay no entry fee)

*Students or NALIP members: US$15 regular deadline and US$30 late deadline.
