Description: Tribal citizens—from elders to youth—have stories to tell. This session provides examples of ways to use digital media and new technology to capture the words, experiences, and perspectives of tribal community members to advocate on behalf of their communities. From using digital storytelling in Alaska, to helping Native youth use new media to express themselves while learning about environmental issues, this session will provide attendees with new tools to engage tribal members to tell their story and advocate for a better future for Indian Country.
