15th Native American Film + Video Festival - Deadline June 30th
The Film and Video Center of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian seeks submissions for the 15th Native American Film + Video Festival, which will be held in New York City between March 31 and April 3, 2011. The festival features films and video productions of all genres from North, Central, South America, and Hawai'i. It showcases productions by Native media makers, as well as community projects, broadcast productions, and other works reflecting Native Perspectives,and brings together participants from the four directions for screenings, workshops and special events. All programs are free to the public. Works will be chosen by a selection team made up of Native American media makers and cultural activists and the program staff of the film and video center.
