Native Producers to attend INPUT 2005

Jack Kohler with Shirley SneveNAPT is heading to San Francisco in May to partake in the annual INPUT conference. INPUT (International Public Television) is a unique conference that brings together 2,000 independent and public broadcasting producers representing 60 countries to view films produced for public broadcast, facilitate discourse on various topics related to public broadcasting and join in workshops and discussions. INPUT offers the opportunity to meet other independent producers, learn more about public broadcasting from a worldwide perspective and discuss the issues that concern public broadcasting. Eighty to one hundred fi lms produced for public broadcast will be screened during the week followed by moderated discussions. Hosted by ITVS this year’s conference will “make an unprecedented commitment to diversity, collaboration and international exchange.” More information is available at www.input2005.org.

Opportunities for NAPT Producers
Native American producers will join producers representing the National Minority Consortia in workshops at INPUT designed to advance their knowledge of producing for public television.
