Pow Wow Season
The Drum is a Native American radio program that is aired on 89.3 FM KZUM in Lincoln, NE. You can also listen online at airos.org & kzum.org. The show features Native American Traditional artists and Pow-Wow drum groups. The Drum's awesome Native co-hosts are Tobias Grant (Omaha/Sisseton/Navajo/Cherokee) and Jessica James (Pyramid Lake Paiute/Bannock/Washo). It is like a Native Pow Wow on your computer every Sunday night. What a spiritual way to relax before the start of the upcoming week or a good ending to a long weekend. Either way, The Drum is about Traditional and Pow Wow music for Indian Country (Turtle Island). Also, how else are people going to learn about their favorite drum group? The Drum will give you a drum group to talk about at the next gathering and impress everyone around you about your knowledge of Traditional and Pow Wow music. Here is an excellent start to finding your favorite drum group. Tune in Sunday nights at 7 p.m.-9 p.m. CT at kzum.org or at airos.org.
