Producer Handbook: Project Planning Worksheet
PROJECT PLANNING WORKSHEET
What do you want to happen as a result of your effort?
Goals: (Remember: A goal is a written statement describing a direction that will indicate success or improvement of the targeted issue. Insure your goals are realistic.)
Audience: (Who are you trying to reach? How do you want to impact them—raise awareness, change attitudes, change behavior?)
Activity: (Determine whether you want a nationally-directed activity or allow local partners or grantees to determine what activities make the most sense in their community.)
Materials: (Identify what online and print materials exist and how your effort can add to or enhance those. Determine how your audience gets information and plan to deliver your materials accordingly. For instance, do they have access to the Web?)
Partnerships: (What organizations are already working in this field? How will your film benefit their work? How can they benefit yours?)
Budget: (Will you provide grants? How many? How much for each grant? Will you hire an outreach consultant? Will you create a Web site or print materials? Will your national partners provide in kind services and/or resources?)
