2015 Union Pacific Railroad Council of Native American Heritage (CONAH) Native American Scholarship. This scholarship is a $500 or $1000 award to assist Native American Students in defraying the cost of higher education. Recipients are chosen on the basis of scholastic ability, leadership, and need. All selections are within the discretion of the CONAH Scholarship Committee and are final.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of the United States

• Be of Native American Descent

• Obtain a High School Diploma or G.E.D by June 30, 2015.

• Be enrolled Full Time at an accredited College/University

• Be pursuing a Certificate/Associate/Bachelor/Master Degree

• Have a grade point average of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.

The submission deadline for all Council of Native American (CONAH) Scholarship applications including all supporting documents is March 31, 2015. Applications and other information postmarked after March 31, 2015, will not be accepted.
