Khloe Keeler
Keeler was raised in California and moved to Omaha, Neb., to obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Creighton University where she served as a student-body advisor working with the University's board of directors. She continued to hone her journalistic skills through various training opportunities while attending graduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), earning her Master of Arts degree in Journalism in May 2014. While attending UNL, she held the position of Club President for Nebraska University Students Against Modern Day Slavery (NUSAMS). She also authored a 140-page Master's project, Human Trafficking Across America: Stories of Survivors, which stems from her advocacy endeavors to shed light on and raise awareness about domestic human trafficking and the laws that directly affect how buyers are penalized and victims are protected. Additionally, Khloe has been actively involved in the Native Daughters: Oklahoma project--serving as a reporter for the second edition of the print publication.
