48th Ann Arbor Film Festival - Deadline Oct. 5

AAFF distributes over $20,000 USD worth of cash awards and prizes, many sponsored by accomplished filmmakers such as Ken Burns, Michael Moore, Lawrence Kasdan, and Gus Van Sant. AAFF selects up to two dozen short films to showcase on its acclaimed traveling tour, with screenings in more than 25 venues across the United States. Filmmakers participating in the Tour are paid for each screening of their work. The Festival also licenses a DVD collection of short films from each year's festival, which it sells internationally and through which it provides additional income for participating filmmakers.
