Aspen Shortsfest's goal is to create an intimate international forum for emerging artists, established film professionals, and film-loving audiences to gather together for a unique celebration of short cinema. One of North America's preeminent short film competitions, this nineteen-year-old festival showcases the most innovative and vibrant voice on the cinematic landscape - the short film. Competing for significant cash prizes, animated and live action award winners may also qualify for Academy Award consideration.
