- I am a documentary filmmaker and editor based in Boston who has a strong interest in Navajo and Hopi culture. Currently I am working on a documentary about Navajo and Hopi cross-country running concerning both the unique intersection between Navajo and Hopi culture and the sport, and the ways distance running effects teenage boys growing up on the reservation. I first went to the Navajo reservation in the early 90's as a college student with a teaching assistant program in Shonto, Arizona. Since then I've returned a number of times in different capacities. I am looking to connect with other native filmmakers for possible collaboration, feedback and recommendations for native crew members. I also want to stay informed about NAPT events and funding opportunities. Thanks very much, you've put together an excellent and highly useful resource.
