Call for New Mexico Filmmakers for Annual Film Showcase

The Guild Cinema and the New Mexico Film Office are seeking filmmakers from the Land of Enchantment for the 5th Annual New Mexico Filmmakers Showcase May 14-17 in Albuquerque.

The showcase is a series of free public screenings designed to expose and celebrate the work of New Mexican filmmakers.  The four-day event also offers local writers and directors a chance to have their short or feature length film shown publicly on the big screen at Guild theatre downtown.

There is no entry fee to submit a film. A total of 30 hours of films will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Narrative, documentary, animated and experimental films are all welcome. Deadline for entries is April 3.

Entry forms are available at the Guild Cinema box office, the New Mexico Film Office or online at www.nmfilm.com. For more information, contact the Guild at 505-266-2065, or Trish Lopez at the NM Film Office at 505-476-5611.

All screenings are free to the public.
