- I am the Administrative Assistant for the Owens Valley Career Development Center, a tribal entity, under the governing body of the Owens Valley Board of Trustees; a consortium of 3 Paiute/Shoshone Indian tribes located in Bishop, Big Pine & Lone Pine California. OVCDC has 14 offices in central California that handles the tribal TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) Program - formally known as the Welfare Program. I am a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. I saw your documentary "Way of the Warrior" this week on PBS & I would like to purchase a copy. I am responsible for publishing/editing a monthly newsletter that is mailed to Native American families in our area, as well a throughout the state, & to Native Americans originally from our location that have moved to other states. The newsletter also goes to the BIA in Sacramento, Forest Service Members, varioius business enitities in Bakersfield, CA; & tribal leaders on several California Reservations, etc.
